Local band 3 Leg Torso will headline a concert tonight in Ridgefield. The band, which formed in 1996, performs a mix of chamber music, tango, klezmer, Latin and world music.

Fans should expect to hear a mixture of old and new. The band will preview several songs from its upcoming album, “Animals & Cannibals,” which is slated for a spring release.

3 Leg Torso has released several CDs and has composed documentary and film scores. The band’s music appears in the 2007 documentary “What Would Jesus Buy?”

1. ‘Producers’ wraps up

Tonight is the final night to see Clark College Theatre’s production of “The Producers.”

In the production, a Broadway producer and an accountant conspire to raise $2 million in the hopes of staging the worst musical ever and walking off with the profits. The pair seek out the worst director in town and think they have found a surefire flop in “Springtime for Hitler.” Their plans go awry when the production is a success.

The elaborate production features about 400 costumes.

2. American Indian culture showcased

The Native American Traditional Powwow takes place today at Covington Middle School.

The powwow showcases a variety of American Indian dancing styles. Vendors will also be on hand to sell items, and food will be available for purchase.

3. Treasures unearthed in Portland

Hundreds of vendors will sell a variety of items at the Portland Antique and Collectible Show this weekend.

The Portland Expo Antique and Collectible Show is today and Sunday at the Portland Expo Center.

Items for sale include pop collectibles, vintage clothing, glassware, turn-of-the-century furniture, antique toys and sports memorabilia.

Visitors can also have items appraised for $5 per item.

When: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Where: Portland Expo Center, 2060 N. Marine Drive, Portland.

Admission: $7, which is good for both days.

Parking is $7 at the Portland Expo Center, and visitors can park at nearby Portland Meadows for $5. Shuttle service will be provided for drivers parking at Portland Meadows.

4. Burton puts spin on ‘Wonderland’

Director Tim Burton’s take on ‘Alice in Wonderland’ arrives in theaters this weekend. Burton’s film, which stars Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, follows Alice (Mia Wasikowska) as she falls down the rabbit hole and stumbles into a magical world. There, she encounters with the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter), the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) and the Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry).

This isn’t Burton’s first foray into children’s classics. Burton in 2005 directed “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

“Alice in Wonderland” will also be released in 3-D. Fans can watch the 3-D version at Battle Ground Cinema, Cinetopia and Regal Cascade 16 Cinemas, 1101 S.E. 160th Ave., Vancouver.
